Urban Air and More

"Fun Week" began this week for FCY with a trip to a place down in Gwinnett that had all kinds of activities, like rock walls, laser tag, dodge ball, trampolines, a ropes course, a sky rider and more.  Maddie had a blast, heading down there to keep super active for a few hours, and then after that, she went with Camille and her friend Mason over to the Mall of Georgia for some shopping, some California rolls, and some boba tea of course.  But there are trips to a pet store, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts too!

She had a wonderful day.  She didn't get back to the house until much later on.  We were out shopping for the Easter production once more, getting fabric and a few other items as well.  I was also moving leaves from the yard, lugging them down the hill to the ditch and lo!  Our tree in the front yard has blossomed!  Hanging all over that tree next to the house are dozens of colorful plastic Easter eggs!

Mom and I were trying to identify some visiting birds - we've had some new ones here on the back deck.  We even have robins up there going after the mealworms.  But these new grey birds are unique - we're going back and forth between female cowbirds or indigo buntings or maybe even something else.  Not sure, but it's fun seeing all our feathered visitors.  I took a picture of the bird - maybe you can identify our mystery visitor.  I also took photos while I was out there of some flowers from our yard, which you can see below.  Lots of pictures today - egg trees, flowers, a mystery bird, and even Hoppy Hollow!

Our Egg Tree has bloomed!  Many colorful Easter eggs dangle from all the different branches.

Our mystery bird!

Here are a few more photos from Hoppy Hollow!

We had a good day today, ending things with dinner, a few episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", then Kingdom Keepers and the adventures of Mattie, one of the newest members of the group.  Then after that, prayers and a good night's rest.  We're in a busy season now!
