Main Event

Maddie was at another Fun Week event today, this time going down to a place called "Main Event" down in Buford, where she had access to laser tag, bowling, video games, and a whole lot more.  Plus really big desserts!  You can see above that Maddie can't say no to a photo booth, and this big dessert looked .  With the exception of the photo booth pictures, she used her phone to take some of these you see above, and had another really good day playing around with friends.  

It was pouring rain today, all day long.  It was a huge downpour, part of a system that's here to stay with us a little bit.  We had our umbrellas with us for a while.  Maddie was at taekwondo tonight and given that it's Spring Break, the classes are combined in a unique way.  The younger students were training alongside the black belts, and it was a pretty full class.  Lots of fun though!  

It's a busy time right now.  Mom is pretty overwhelmed and Nana is about the same as usual.  I'm glad we can at least send off Maddie to various places.  Maddie has FCY tomorrow night, but otherwise it'll be a day at home for her.  Although we're probably heading out to fabric stores and thrift stores, she can stay at home and be okay on her own.  She's got a writing assignment that she's been working with on and off this week, so she'll be at home relaxing with that as well as watching videos and playing on the Nintendo Switch.

We read tonight after watching an episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." or two.  We're in the midst of a busy and stressful season here, so these entries might be a little short lately.  We said our prayer tonight, and were off to sleep.
