Party Prep

We were doing quite a bit of prep today for the party tomorrow.  You can see Mom and Maddie watching the Shrinky Dinks shrink in the oven there.  We made one good batch, but this batch didn't turn out as well.  Still, everyone at the party tomorrow will get a Shrinky Dink.  

Another thing we had in the oven were some cupcakes that Mom went on to decorate like a blob fish, and these turned so amazing.  I can't wait to share the pictures of how these look, but each guest will get a blob fish cupcake tomorrow.  We also made a really great game of Blob Fish Bingo too, which took a whole lot of cutting out, but we did that really well tonight, and that should be fun too.  It was a lot of party preparation today.

I didn't have my camera on me, but at tonight's taekwondo, Maddie was training some of the super young ones, and it was really cute!  She was leading them in stretches and exercises, and it was so great to see.  We were showing Mrs. Edge - and Maddie - a video of when Maddie was roughly this age herself.  It was so cute back then, and cute here tonight too!

We had class today, and Nana and I were there to watch.  Mom was continuing her set up for things, including outside.  Speaking of which, let me share some pictures from outside.  Mom painted a chair a nice blue color, and we actually found this amaryllis outside in the ground.  We moved it up to the chair, because it looks nice.

Oh, and look at the tomatoes coming in.  We've got a nice little cluster of them here on one plant:

I took another picture or two out in the garden, where we have so many flowers.  Look closely, and you can see what I think is a tiny grasshopper on this flower. 

We set up the corn hole game too, and of course had a round or two.  Maddie's wrist is much better now.  Look how this one bean bag is clinging to life, desperate to not fall off!

We had a good day.  I was working out this morning at cardio therapy again.  I had a 15% grade on the walking, and it was a good workout!

Tonight we got some Chick-Fil-A on the way home, and then we were off to the planet Maveth when we got there.  Yes, that was more "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", the last two episodes before the midpoint of season three. 

We read tonight from "Kingdom Keepers," and then it time for prayers and bed.  It's going to be a great day today!
