We had a great skit this morning, one that was completely random and super fun to do, thanks to these ridiculous flower costumes that Mom got for us. We had a farmer and of course these sunflowers, and that got a lot of laughs this morning. Our skit was about good soil, and of course the tie-in was about finding a good church. It got applause afterwards, another fun song created with AI. I did the lyrics, and got a pretty magical song that's had everyone singing along with it all week. It's been fun.
We had a quiet day after that. Maddie was snapping those pictures above, and then got them online. I just shared four pictures of our skit here, but after this we went to the grocery store to get some rotisserie chicken, which was tasty for lunch. I walked after that, getting in a few more miles on the treadmill while watching "The Cat From Outer Space." Deep cut Disney movies have been really fun lately - earlier it was "Country Bears," and that was fun too. Anyway, I plugged in my milage along the Corpse Bride path there, and am approaching 30% of the trail total. Still on track to finish by the end of October, which will be good. Currently, I'm at the tavern area, ready to hear about how we all end up the remains of the day.
It was a bit rainy, and that put a damper on any plans to go out today. Besides, Mom has been reeling from this recent detox program - it was another rough day for her. We talk to our representative tomorrow, but we've both been feeling some stronger symptoms lately. We'll see how things progress tomorrow.
In the meantime, there was a Ghostbusters marathon - we watched "Afterlife" and then had dinner, and then watched the 2016 movie, which we actually like, in fact we like it better than "Frozen Empire," which has not aged well at all.
We read tonight from "Jingo," and then said our prayers after that. We haven't gotten as much sleep this weekend due to the homecoming events, so it was an early night tonight. Time to get some rest!
