Pottery Retrieval

We went up to Sautee Nacoochee this morning with one mission in mind:  to get our ugly face pots!  These were glazed and just came out of the kiln, and the pottery museum up there gave us a call to let us know they were ready.  We made the trip up today to pick them up, and they looked great!

The nice employees up there were very complimentary of our creations, letting us know that everyone was laughing at them.  We posed them at one place within the museum before wrapping them up for the trip home.

And that's when we went down the street a bit.  We went over to the Old Sautee Store again and that was fun looking around again.  We picked up a few specific grocery items there, and a bit of time talking with employees.

And then there was the Tomato House on the way home.  We picked up some more cider there, and some pumpkin spice soda we'll probably try tomorrow.  It was a nice little trip up to White County, and the weather was just beautiful!  Here's a few pictures outside the Tomato House, pictures of some of their fun items outside.

We got over to taekwondo afterwards, and Maddie had a good night there.  We watched "Tower of Terror" tonight, and that's a fun movie we watch once a year, and after that it was ti
