Chili and Apple Pie

Got another post card here, and the story seems to be coming to a conclusion pretty quickly, although I think I have around ten or eleven days of walking to go, if I'm doing roughly two per day.  Anyway, there's going to be a wedding.  A wedding!  A wedding!  We might have to watch this one again, one to the think of it, just as a celebration of my completion.  Can't wait to get the new medal, although we'll already be in a Thanksgiving mode by that point.  This morning I was walking along on the treadmill as I was watching "Escape to Witch Mountain," the original, and thinking about how Eddie Arnold's character, Jason O'Day, was a bit like my dad's father somewhat, camper and all.  It would be pretty cool if our camper flew too!

Maddie was at taekwondo tonight, and I got to see Maddie kicking a green board successfully, and also successfully teaching some other students too.  She's very good at both.  Speaking of things she's good at, we'll have to share her recent work for a Forward Conference advertising campaign, something she's learning to do with the marketing department.

Nate was a bit under the weather today, so it was just us.  But we got home to eat some dinner - Pumpkin Carving Party chili and some of that Dollywood apple pie!

We watched the live-action "Addams Family" tonight, one of my favorites, and listened to the wind and chill outside.  Tonight we read, and got to sleep early after prayers.  Still catching up on rest from the weekend!
