Hey, I carved another pumpkin tonight! We're doing decorations for a trunk tomorrow at Edgefest, the trunk-or-treat event this year. It's our first time trying something like that, and each country is doing a different country. We chose China, and with that in mind, I have a pagoda carved into the pumpkin tonight - I was carving that while we were watching "Igor," another seasonal movie. We're watching a lot of these movies, and we have a week to go, a lot of time left to see some more.
Here's a stop today! We were getting some 50's gear for an upcoming KidPak skit at Braselton's campus, and some other items too, so yes, we stopped at Cracker Barrel too! Mom and I enjoy this location a lot, walking around the store and eating some nice comfort food there. Good crowd there as well.
I did my walking today, outside along the trail over at Chicopee while Maddie was at taekwondo. I'm getting more steps in along the Corpse Bride Marathon, but wow, the temperature and atmosphere walking through the woods on a crisp fall day was just wonderful. Nice night for a walk!
Here's my pumpkin I did tonight later on. We dropped by to see Nate after taekwondo. Nate was feeling a little off tonight, so he didn't make it. That was nice, as Maddie was glad to go by and spread some cheer. This morning, Maddie had chapel, and Pastor Tucker was speaking there - they had a good service.
It was a good day today. We got to bed earlier, because tomorrow is huge. We read from our book "Jingo," and then said our prayers before getting some sleep. It's a fun, fun season!
