Monster Cereal season is here! So my nutritional content has dramatically changed, which represents a huge challenge with this particular food. We'll consider this a "feast" day when I get some of this cereal. But these are tradition, and new boxes are just amazing. Jim Henson Company designed the monsters, and they look spectacular. I mean, look at them! It'll be a fun season!
Today we were doing a good bit of work towards our next booklet, and that takes a lot of time. But tonight we had a visit from Uncle George and Thip, an expected visit that we've been looking forward to. Mom had spaghetti for everyone, and there was a lot of catching up and talking. It was great to see them again. Mom was sharing some old photos from some time ago, pictures of her and George from many years ago, and that was fun.
We tried a movie tonight called "The Portable Door," which was also from the Jim Henson Company. It was a very quirky movie, but what else would you expect? We enjoyed it though, certainly attempting to - somewhat like the main character - figure out what on earth is going on for much of the movie.
We closed the day out with reading from the Discworld, and then prayers of course. It was a quiet day, and tomorrow we'll have fun with our new visitors for a day out together.
