Hang 10 End

 

Sunday at KidPak, and a nice wrap-up for our "Hang 10" series!  Maddie was staff photographer this morning, and she takes some really excellent pictures.  I've been so impressed, I think she should take our Summer Xtreme pictures too!

It was a good morning, and a great, great series!  I'm so glad that inflatable surfboard came in handy.  We bought that at the Georgia-Florida border many years ago, purchased at a little shop that had a lot of surplus VBS stuff.  We got a lot of good ideas down there for different series that we've done here at KidPak.  I'd like to drop by there again some day.  Of course, there are plenty of other things to see along the drive now, including Buc-ee's.  Hard to compete with that!

Anyway, the rest of the day was quiet and restful.  We're marching forward with work at home, prepping for Summer Xtreme too, and of course Maddie's got a big competition coming up.  Lots going on.  But we had a good day, and it was good to hang 10 for a while.

We closed out the day with prayers, and a bit of reading from our latest Star Wars booklet.  These are big booklets full of short stories.  Some are pretty lame, but there are a few good ones in there too.
