What a great Father's Day gift! Maddie and Mom conspired and got me this collector's set of Star Wars themed coffee flavors, which look fantastic, don't they? What a gift! I also got a copy of "Black Widow" and a copy of "Kung Fu Panda 4," which we'll probably watch some time later this month, maybe Gotcha Day.
Here's one of Maddie's gifts for her birthday. She said she wanted a Dr. Pepper, so Emma brought her one, nicely presented too! Plus a card. It was pretty funny. KidPak this morning went well, as we honored dads and continued our "castaway" theme with a new mad-lib, one that featured Camille, Emma, and Wilson the Volleyball.
Maddie took these pictures, and like last week when she did the same thing, the pictures are impressive. I had a tough time narrowing it down to the ones that go online. She's got a fantastic eye and great talent.
The rest of the day was rest. Maddie was on the computer with her taekwondo friends the rest of the day. Mom and I were resting, and cleaning up a good bit too. We watched a few things later on too, but not too much. We're starting "Loki" because of our time spent at that Atlanta hotel. And we started with some episodes of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," which we'll be spending a lot of time with in the coming weeks. It's "research" to find fun jokes for skits. But we actually enjoy the show!
Anyway, it was a good day today, and certainly a day to stop and catch up on rest. It was a nice Father's Day!
