Social Butterfly

Here's Madison in school today with one of her favorite teachers, and they're both dressed up for Idiom Day!  Can you tell what Madison is dressed as?  Here's a hint:

She's a social butterfly, hence all the social media website logos on the back of her wings there.  She just liked dressing up as a butterfly, really:

And she wasn't alone.  There were a few other social butterflies there at the school, along with a meathead, a blessing in disguise, a fork in the road, a catching z's, a time is money, a smart cookie, a stop to smell the roses, a few raining cats and dogs, a stole my thunder, a cloud 9, a head in the clouds, and of course many others.  In other words, a bunch of complete idioms!  Daddy was in school today to take pictures of some of the kids, and the costumes were pretty clever.  Madison fit right in!

It was an early release day at school, so Daddy came home early too!  We decided to go to the movies today, something we haven't done in a while.  So loading up with popcorn and overpriced drinks, we went to the auditorium to see "Black Panther," which was a pretty good movie.  There are so many of these Marvel movies now, aren't there?  I'm not sure the total tally off the top of my head, but we've been watching them all in the theater since "Iron Man."  That's just the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  We've of course been watching Marvel movies before that, including "Spider-Man" and "Fantastic Four."  But these have been good, and Madison enjoyed it too.

After shopping at Party City and Wal-Mart, we went home afterward, ate a bit, and played some games.  We started a new book tonight at bedtime, one featuring CJ Hook from the Descendants series.  She's not in the movies, but she's Captain Hook's daughter, continuing the whole Peter Pan theme even further.  There are so many spin-offs from Neverland, including this one in Auradon.  Anyway, we're just getting started - Madison wanted to read this one next, as we're in this series.  We said our prayers and went to sleep early tonight.  We have a bit day tomorrow!
