A Frozen Ballet

This was the big day for Madison, with a couple of performances of the "Frozen Ballet."  She's seen here above with the main four characters, Hans, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. The photo booth you see above was made up of pieces of our "Elevate" set, and assembled in the lobby of Pearce Auditorium by a fellow mom from KidPak.  It all turned out well, and we were glad to donate the set.

Tonight, we had a few extra guests, including Camille and her mom.  We were seated up in the front row of the balcony, our usual spots.  Everyone loved the show, from the non-"Frozen" repertoire pieces beforehand to the actual "Frozen" production itself.  It was the sixth time that Daddy has seen it in its entirety, but it's well done.  Madison did well, and enjoyed her part in all of it, as always.  She looked great up there on stage, and she did all her choreography well, and was all smiles throughout.  It is such a wonderful thing seeing your daughter dance on stage, and seeing all the other kids perform after so much practice and effort - it's fantastic to see!

The weather is getting cold out again.  Spring is here, but this cold snap is quite surprising.  Well, perhaps it isn't so surprising:  Elsa is here again in Gainesville, right?  Yep.
