SX14: The Day After

So the day came, the day of cleaning up, preparing for Sunday, and getting ice cream too!  We go from time to time, but always the day after Summer Xtreme we head over to this one ice cream shop together, and pose for our annual post SX14 picture together.  It's a Mexican ice cream shop, with all sorts of unique and awesome flavors.

It's a different atmosphere, after such noise and commotion in the church all week, and so much energy and atmosphere, and now it is so quiet.  It's back to normal, and the comments from kids and parents is that they wish it could go on and on.  But now it's quiet, and the folks you see above are pretty much the only ones at church today, setting up things for tomorrow and cleaning up.

Everyone slept in, of course.  One of the guys above, Josh, spent the night at our place and didn't wake up until around noon.  You have to keep in mind that he's been doing so many all-nighters, working on videos and game logistics and all sorts of things like that.  It's been a lot of work over the last few weeks especially.  And now we're done with it all - and there's a lot of catching up to do on rest.  That doesn't happen until tomorrow, but the gang above is looking forward to it!
