Tank Girl

Here's a photo of Madison from two years ago, just after arriving home with us in July of 2008. She's on stage for our "Call of Duty" series, the one that we're doing again - starting this Sunday. Time goes by so fast - and look how much she's grown! Back then, Mommy had found that military-looking outfit that fit her perfectly, and we enjoyed dressing her up on stage for her tour of duty. She was just a cadet, helping out on the tank patrol. I think she was just checking the wankel rotary engine or something. She's a big part of the tank squad - in fact, that's why she goes around saying "Tank you." It's a tank girl thing.

This next picture is bound to offend somebody. Here we are, taking this precious little girl - and putting her actually inside a tank. She was just about to get the hang of it and drive the tank through the rest of the church, but fortunately Daddy got there just in time. By the way, this tank's top can actually swing left and right, and just like the one we'll have in this series, it can shoot out t-shirts and other prizes deep into the audience. Don't worry: we won't launch anything with a lot of weight! Unless there's someone who has been getting on Daddy's nerves....

In any event, the tank is back for the next five weeks. I'm sure we'll pose her with it again, and this time with a new outfit that Mommy picked up yesterday. She loves dressing up in different outfits, especially the ones you don't get to wear everyday. That said, she'll have fun getting all geared up in her military garb. She'll look all ready to answer the Call of Duty!
