Arrr!

Arrr! Ye scurvy rats! We'll be pirates for sure this May as we make the journey back to Disney to stay at the Disney Caribbean Resort. A special deal came across, and we really, really needed a vacation - so we're staying for four nights (and we've got a five-day ticket pass!).

Lately, we've been watching pirate movies, such as "Princess and the Pirate," "Treasure Planet," "Muppet Treasure Island," and of course the "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy. Madison has seen the muppet one, and knows really well how to say "arrr!" She also knows how to say "Disney World." I think this will be our fourth trip to a Disney park with her - and this one will be a little different. This time, we'll be heading to the parks a bit more, and spending some time with the character dining.

Needless to say, we're pretty excited. I suppose the next few weeks we'll be plotting and planning our adventure. I can't wait to go on Dumbo again, and this time we'll visit the China pavilion at EPCOT. Madison can say and recognize China - what a thrill it will be for her to meet Mulan and see a bit of what her homeland is like. There'll be so much for us to do together. Usually, we visit and are focused on the more grown-up things. But this time, we just can't wait to see the kiddie shows, and watch Madison's face light up at meeting characters and riding all the rides like "It's a Small World." It'll be magical!

We're getting our pirate gear ready, and we're about to set sail! Ahoy there, me hearties!
