The Loudfairies

Madison got to visit with Abbie and Rachel tonight, as we went over their house for a special occasion: It was their Mommy Judy's birthday, and we just wanted to make sure we came over to celebrate. All three of the girls strapped on their fairy wings and fluttered around the house, naturally making lots of noise. These were clearly imitating a certain kind of fairy, found only in this region:

That's right - the Loudfairies. These fairies are wee little ones that go around screaming and squealing really loudly. Some fairies are responsible for the fragrant morning dew. Others are responsible for the gentle frost that decorates winter forests. These fairies are responsible for noise.

If you're wondering what Loudfairies do for recreation, it's quite simple! They have School Bus Races. At least, that's what Madison, Rachel and Abbie had tonight. With their wings fluttering, the three each grabbed a huge plastic school bus - one for each of them - and pushed them around the house in circles as fast as they could. Don't question it. That's just what Loudfairies do.

Of course all that stopped when the cake and ice cream came out. Loudfairies love ice cream. Everything stops when there's ice cream!

Mommy and Daddy thought it was nice to go over and spend some time with our friends - we used to have a lot more time before the kids came! We both laughed about how after the children go to bed, we finally have some quiet time to watch a movie or something - and then we fall asleep before its over!

That just might be the case tonight. Our little Loudfairy is finally snoozing...
