I think one of the highlights must have been the discovery of the dandelion. Once Madison learned you could blow the seeds, then it became a really fun time for her. That's what grandparents are for: to show you cool stuff like this. Madison was addicted. She had to pick as many as she could, and blow the seeds away in the breeze.
Here she is, getting her first lesson of Dandelions 101.
I use the number "101," because I think we must have picked one hundred and one of these poor flowers along the walk back from the park! Madison had to get every one she spotted, and blow it into the wind. Even when she was sitting on Daddy's shoulders, she'd insist on getting dandelions where she spotted them. The end result was that Daddy has quite a few dandelion seeds in his hair.
Flaky white stuff in Daddy's hair? I guess you could call it... dandedruff.
