Free Chapel Youth had it's annual Back to School Bash tonight, and you can see Maddie there playing a game with some friends in a larger circle there. Rides and other amusements are being set up outside for a fun time later on, and on top of that, there were these delicious tacos that I just love to eat. No cheese of course, but I got a few of them for myself, and there were leftovers for tomorrow too, so it's all good!
Not all good was Nana, who is dwindling quickly. Mom is not sure what to do or how to feel or anything - she's sick to her stomach, not hungry and hungry, worried and trying to figure where to be or what to do. It's been difficult for all of us, and of course for Nana, who seems to be fading quickly. Her voice is weak, and she's not eating really anything. She takes sips of things from time to time, with some difficulty. It's tough. We're driving back and forth, back and forth, and just really not sure of much except that Nana is dwindling and each time we visit it gets worse. We visit a few times a day now.
It was a stormy evening - fortunately the harshest rains came after the events at the church. Tonight we read, and we said our prayers. Tomorrow we'll do it all over again.
