We had a good day today, with Maddie heading off to Camp FCY. She got out of school early today, and here's something new: she's going to join the Beta Club at school. It requires a bit of community service, and she already does a good bit of that during the week as is, but there's also service at the school, so that may mean getting up earlier to help out at the coffee shop. We may have our own little barista in the house! Anyway, we'll sign her up for that shortly, and there's an induction ceremony and everything coming up soon.
Meanwhile, it was time for camp. And this was the big story of the weekend of course. It took a while to get everyone loaded and off, but you can see below some pictures from the church, as well as some pictures Maddie took herself - she went up to the camp tonight with about 350 other students, and then all the volunteers and staff too. It's going to be a great weekend for her. And although we'll miss her quite a bit, we know she's going to have a super time!
