Foam on the Range

Tonight's FCY was a lot of fun for Maddie and the other students, as afterwards there was a foam maker set up in the parking lot that they all were having a blast with.  Usually, this sort of thing is set up within a pool or an enclosure, but in this case, it was just out over the parking lot, and it looked like crazy fun!

Of course, she got completely soaked.  But she had a towel and was prepared for the evening, and it was super fun.  Before that was the youth service, and that was a lot of fun too.  There was a youth worship band leading, and a message from Pastor Jacob too.  And the usual pizza, and cupcakes for Pastor Hamilton's birthday as well.  Fun night!

Uncle George is here, having just arrived for only a few days.  We all had a nice meal together tonight - Mom made some shrimp on skewers for me to put on the grill, and we had that and corn and a few other extras for a pretty nice dinner.  It was a quiet day today, but ended with a lot of fun for Maddie.

We started our new book, the most recent book of the Mysterious Benedict Society, "The Extraordinary Education of Nicolas Benedict."  Here we go on the last book in the series (so far), and it should be pretty good.  We didn't have as much time to read, as it was late, but start we did.  And afterwards, we prayed, and got to bed quickly!
