Christmas Pumpkin

This morning we woke up and there was still one pumpkin left in the house from Halloween.  In fact, you can see a bit more than that set up by our elf.  "What's this?"  It's Jack Skellington and Zero, and a few little props as well.

Today we were at home for the most part, the reason being that Madison was under the weather.  In case there was any doubt, she actually took a really long nap today - well over an hour.  She wasn't even asked to.  She just felt tired, and that was that.

There was a good amount of coughing and drainage too, of course.  This affected her concert appearance tonight, as in:  she didn't go.  She had a runny nose and all that, and we were just concerned about her performance tonight, and figured it might be best to stay at home.  Which we did.

We were doing a bit of work today - Daddy finished the script for tomorrow, and on top of that was out getting a few props.  Madison got a bath, basically spent the day chilling at home.  We watched a few movies tonight, "Prep & Landing, "and "Home Alone 2."

Again, there's the President in a Christmas movie.  Madison either forgot about that, or it just hit her while we were watching:  there's the President, actually helping out little Kevin in the hotel.  We were snuggling under the blankets on the couch together - only a few more days to go until Christmas.  This season goes by so fast!  But it's so great to sit there together under the blankets with the tree so nicely lit, watching Christmas movies.  And drinking egg nog too:  Mommy and Daddy were enjoying the egg nog today, but Madison doesn't really like it so much.

We did our reading tonight and our prayers, and got to bed early, or at least Madison did.  We were still working later tonight, and Mommy was somewhat sick, so that might affect things tomorrow morning.

It was a quiet day, one to stay warm and recover.  We're going to have a big morning tomorrow, so it's best that everyone rests up.  Goodnight!
