Maddie got her cap and gown, and on top of that we got her a few other gifts - including a copy of "Oh, the Places You'll Go" that has scriptures I hand-wrote on each page. She was also super happy to get some Mickey Ears with a graduation cap - and the words "CLASS OF 2025" on them. She's all smiles now, and in fact she thought it would be fun to do a photo shoot. So we went down to the park inside our community here and did a nice series of photos that you'll see here below:
Today there were some pretty good rain storms. But we managed to squeeze in some work with mulch and pea gravel and weeding and all kinds of lawn work. I got the fire pit set up nicely, and we have a new device that will be easier to work for that, instead of trying to start a fire and dealing with the smoke and so forth.
Maddie had her Team Edge practice, and they were improving upon certain things that they noticed during the run-throughs and performances this week. They're getting better and better.
Everyone was pretty tired from the long day - we said our prayers and we got to bed earlier tonight. Tomorrow is a huge day. Maddie graduates tomorrow!
