Another Testing

Tonight there was another testing, another step towards a new belt for all these students here.  The midterm testings were successful for everyone you see here, and it was great for all the parents to see the usual events of the night:  the sparring, the demonstration of forms, and the board breaking too.  I got a few pictures taken of the evening's testing.  Maddie did very well, as did everyone else!

Afterwards, we did the time-honored tradition of getting boba tea from a nearby location, and this time Nate came along with us.

It was nice!  We got home later, and had enough time to check out the first episode of a new series called "House of David."  It's based on David from the Old Testament, specifically the book of 1 Samuel.  Pretty good first episode.  We'll see what happens next as we watch the remaining episodes.

We read after taht, reading more from the Discworld, and then it was time for prayers.  Sleep came easy, as today's been a longer day.
