The Chronosphere

Maddie spent the day working at studio today, as Master Edge and his wife are on vacation, along with a few others.  It's a busy season for that sort of thing:  vacations.  Therefore we're going ourselves!  Just a few days from now, at least.  In any event, Maddie went over there today and was helping Mrs. Hardin and Mr. Cornett as they led classes for a good bit.  Maddie was given her own group of students to look after, and said that she got better as the day went on.  It was a good long time she spent there, and it was nice being useful.  Before that, she was spending the day with Nate of course.  He was helping with class too.

Mom and I were doing a lot of prep for the week, getting ready for KidPak's weekend and also the new series upcoming.  And Forward too - I've been doing this role on camera for a crusty old character that introduces the different Forward Tribes.  It should be pretty funny, as he's so serious and bitter and yet everything he's saying is so ridiculous.  It's a lot of fun - Taylor sent me some pics.

At night we're still reading this "The Last Draw" book from the final adventure of the Kingdom Keepers.  It's been a fun read thus far, with one left field Disney item being used by the characters:  the Chronosphere.  What is the Chronosphere?     

It's a time travel device used in the movie "Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass," one that the Kingdom Kids are able to use to go back in time to reveal the villains' plot.  That being said, we now wanted to watch both the recent live-action "Alice in Wonderland" movies.  We watched the first one from 2010 tonight - has it really been that long?  Note:  that's the same month in 2010 where we first walked into our new house.  It'd be nice to go back and visit some of those nicer memories wouldn't it?  Just grab the Chronosphere and pop in and see all these small beginnings.  Of course, that's kind of what this blog is in a way.  You can pop in to any day going all the way back to 2009.

Anyway, we enjoyed that movie together, and we'll see the second one soon enough of course.  We got a good night's rest after prayers.  We have a lot to do with packing and planning, so it's a fairly busy week.  But we'll have some fun soon!
