Game Testers

Ah, here we are, testing out a game that Josh made up for the Summer Xtreme tribes.  It'll be an on-the-big-screen Mario Party style game, and in this test run, each of us were representing different tribes.  The game worked out, so I think it'll be pretty fun.

It's cooler outside, and tonight we got to spend some time around the new fire pit we picked up.  It's just the perfect sort of weather for that, so long as you wear long sleeved shirts and pants - those mosquitoes love Maddie and me.  For some reason, my blood has become more delicious to them, and I'm not sure why!

Maddie had FCY tonight, and it was good to be back.  They had small groups, and she really enjoys that.  She's just got a few more months of FCY, and then things slowly transfer over to young adults.  Yes, Maddie is a young adult now, and that takes a bit of getting used to!

We had a nice day though.  We read tonight, and we're enjoying this story a good bit, and I think we'll probably be taking this book to finish it on the cruise soon enough.  We're really looking forward to that, counting down the days, and packing bit by bit. 

After prayers tonight, it was time for some sleep.  It's been a good week.  Mom is healthy, Maddie's graduated and we're good there - a lot of good news lately.
