Today we had tickets to the final production of the City Springs Theater season, there to see "Legally Blonde." We actually saw this back in November of 2019, and that previous production by the GTA was really good. But this one was fantastic, and we had a great time. It was easy to get down there, and our season ticket seats are really fantastic, front row of the balcony and at the center. Really, these seats are just amazing - we don't have any problems seeing and at dead center you get to see all the stage really well.
The production itself was a level-up from before, as this one had a much greater budget. Oh, and look who Maddie got to meet - one of the stars of the show!
This is one of the two dogs featured in the production. It's not Bruiser, but in fact Rufus, who was rescued from a bad owner by Elle Woods. He was out there greeting the audience during intermission and afterwards.
The photo ops were fun - they had little stuffed dogs that we could pose with. Pretty sweet!
We had a great time down there at Sandy Springs. Looking down at the audience, we could see a sea of pink, a lot of folks wearing pink to celebrate the theme. And speaking of which, we did go with the first Legally Blonde movie tonight. So yeah, it was a theme of the whole day there!
We did do other things today, of course. Maddie had her practice with Team Edge in the morning. She and the team were working hard, training hard, and working to perfect things. They're doing great!
It's been a decent day. My blood pressure has shot up for some reason. Maybe it was the stuff I ate at the gas station this afternoon, maybe the stress of driving to and fro with deadlines. Don't know. Anyway, we're closing out the day with reading "From a Certain Point of View" and getting a good night's rest. We'll say our prayers... and get some rest.
