Who's On First?

Today was the "opening game" of our new series, "Spring Training," and it was a lot of fun. Madison came this morning, along with Mommy and the rest of the team. It was a fantastic start to a fun series that combines America's favorite pastime with the basic fundamentals of the Bible. It was, however, a pretty late night for everyone working on it. Therefore, it was a sleepy day for much of us. Josh spent the night in our guest room because the night was so late - a lot of work goes into starting off a new series, and we pretty much do this once per month. But it all worked out rather well, and all the kids had a great time. The adults also had a great time too!
Madison
very much enjoyed church this morning - when she left earlier with Mommy, she was quite upset to be leaving so soon. But she had a great day at home. This is amazing: she has incredible problem solving skills and computer skills for a four-year-old. It is quite difficult to explain the concept of a particular children's game we were playing, but on Dr. Seuss's website, there is a game that essentially challenges kids to be engineers in order to solve problems. Madison whizzes through this game easily, not only doing the game - but also showing off how easy she can use a computer. Amazing!

Tonight before bed, we watched Madison's choice: "Snow White." The movie has been restored and simply looks incredible. Madison was cracking up at the seven dwarves all the way through. Dopey may be her favorite, but Sneezy is a close second. We sat and had some popcorn and snuggled together on the couch. It's a very chilly night outside, but we keep warm under the covers, snuggling together.
