LIX

This morning we had a fun service at KidPak.  You can see Nerdo there with his free Super Bowl ticket, the one that says "LIX" on it.  He keeps trying to figure out who licked his ticket, and of course, debating if he should give the ticket away or not.  It was part of a larger story that played out well on stage - I think it was pretty fun.

The morning was a little tight on the schedule, but squeezed in a lot with illustrations, videos, worship and a great message.  It was fun!

We got home today and worked on the puzzle a little, took a nap, and did some more playing of "Battlefront" for a while, just for the nostalgia.  Mom and I had a few Factor meals, and Maddie had some pizza.  We didn't actually watch the Super Bowl, but we heard about a few things happening during the game, including a visit by the President.  Instead of watching the game, we actually watched "The Game Plan," which is our favorite football-themed movie.  It's just fun!

"My towel!  My towel."  It's got a lot of funny moments in it, and we love watching it from time to time.  That was basically our Sunday, starting out at KidPak with a few services, then lunch, puzzles, games, reading, and a movie.  Pretty simple day - we read some more tonight before bed, getting in a few more of the "Lords and Ladies" book, where the main characters are coming to realize that elves are not friendly at all.  Uh-oh.  After that, we said our prayers, and got some rest.  Maddie's got a little cough, so we're keeping an eye on that, hoping that it's allergies.  She's got some medicine, so she should sleep okay tonight.
