Better Together Again

Tonight was FCY, and you can see we're really into the "Better Together" theme this month, crossing all ministries.  What does that mean for KidPak?  Not quite sure, to be honest, although we added some fun cartoon characters and did a fun Groundhog Day skit.  Next week we've got a Super Bowl skit, and then after that probably a Presidents Day skit.  So yeah, it's sort of a collection of ideas.  We even celebrate at home!

The following month will be themed to basketball and March Madness, and that title, "Slam Dunk!"  Tonight at FCY, the students got a nice Bible study and journal, which is pretty cool.  Maddie had a nice time as always.

The weather is so nice outside.  I was literally working outside a few times, once on my front porch and once outside at the fountain area, basking in the sunlight and listening to the fountain there.  Pretty nice.  I snapped this picture of our gardening team getting the part of the front area ready.

Of course, I also had to run in and help with filming right after that - we were doing a puppet show of sorts, a funny video for this weekend that tells the story of Jacob, Essau, Rebekah, and Isaac.  Got quite a few things done today, and I'm enjoying my elaborate Factor meals too - today's was salmon, and I never get tired of that.  Mom told me she ordered our Valentine's Day factor meal too, so that will be great fun at home that night.  

It's been a good day today.  We watched another few episodes of the new animated "Spider-man" show tonight, all caught up now.  It's been great, and we were watching the Easter egg videos afterwards too.  But soon it was time for bed.  Maddie and the Plush Entourage were down in my room listening to the latest part of our new book, "Lords and Ladies," which already has featured the character of DEATH a few times, and that's always fun.  Afterwards, we were ready for bed.  We said our prayers, got everyone tucked in, and got ourselves some sleep.
