Invitation to the Regency Ball

This morning Mom had another doctor's appointment, so after dropping Maddie off at school we were off and running to an appointment there.  This was a scheduled appointment from earlier when Mom had her bloodwork done, but at the same time, this place was absolutely packed.  There were a lot of patience there.  Still, Mom got in and out fairly quick.  Her numbers are a little concerning in certain areas, and so we're keeping an eye on them, making adjustments here or there, and we'll be back with more blood work soon enough.  Hopefully we'll see some good improvements.

Maddie's got this amazing multi-media project she's working on with her self-portrait.  She showed that to us, and it's almost done.  We'll share the completed product later on, but right now it looks pretty nice.  These artistic classes are of course her favorites.  She's got her research paper done, and she keeps up with math.  We hardly hear about these other classes, and there's just a sense of working, working, working on these until she can escape at the end of the year.  Speaking of which, the Prom graphics and information were released today.

It'll be here before you know it:  Maddie's Senior Prom.  She's excited about it, of course.  Mom's making adjustments to her dress and we're making plans to get her friend to come once again.  It's Good Friday, so there's that complication, of course.  I'm gong to not be at the church for it's Easter production on opening night for the first time in... well, I can't remember the last time I wasn't there for that.  But I spoke with everyone, and this is a big deal.  Only one senior prom, right?  I told them if someone gets me a limousine for the night for Maddie, I'll be at the church.  But otherwise, nope!

Anyway, we had a decent day today.  Meetings galore at the office though.  Not getting much done because of the meetings though!

Maddie had a great night at taekwondo, as always.  We came straight home afterwards, although a bit later, and tonight we had a nice quiet evening together.  We watched a few things, and soon enough it was time for bed - we've got a big day tomorrow.  We read, and we prayed, and then everyone got tucked in for a good night's rest.
