Magic Coffee

Mom got us some new coffee to go with the new upcoming basketball theme at KidPak, some Bones Coffee themed with the Orlando Magic!  We're still writing devotional entries and messages too, but it's almost done.  One other fun thing is all the movies we've been watching that feature basketball.  Of course there's "Space Jam," and movies like that.  But there's also "Flubber," which was fun to revisit.    

Maddie might visit this place soon, given all the hot sauces there.   It's Firehouse Subs, and I was there for a quick bite to eat, as it was a busy evening.   I was with Pastor Lance and Donna most of the afternoon,  the three of us writing the Easter production for this year.  Getting home was funny - I was calling Maddie to let her know what was going on for the night, and while on the phone I had her look up how I could get home (because I was writing at Donna's new place, and was a little unfamiliar with the area).  Maddie slightly misread something on her phone, and so she told me to go right... which sort of didn't end well!  I got a little lost while on the phone with her!  Technology being what it is, we were able to fix the mistake. I have a digital map in the car, and she was guiding me correctly from that point on.  But for a moment, it was pretty funny as I was exploring new undiscovered country!

Anyway, we got a good bit done today!  We also had a event for the kids tonight, a movie night.  It went well - our strategy was to show an older good movie that maybe hasn't been seen before.  It seemed to go well!

Maddie stayed home tonight.  Can you believe we have pollen already?  The Pollening has begun!  It's a fake-out though, as more cold is coming.   The Groundhog told us so!  Still, the pollen is high today,  and Maddie's allergies are flaring up.  Got to get that medicine in, despite the shift in weather upcoming. 

We closed up shop tonight with reading more from our current book, and with prayers of course.  It'll be good to get to bed early.
