So here they are, the remaining pictures from Maddie's senior picture portrait studio experience a few months ago. Mainly because we already spent a lot on the other round of senior pictures, we were thinking we could just get a few snaps of Maddie in her cap and gown on graduation and call it a day. But no, I got weak and spent another $170 on these eight pictures total. So we're talking close to fifteen hundred dollars by the time we are done with this scam. But given that we didn't have too much of a choice, and the pictures came out well enough, we bought the pictures. Here they are now!
Tonight we had taekwondo, and Maddie was helping with instruction there, and then going on to leadership class. She's doing well in that class. The weather today was warm and nice, which was great if you were working out there. Not so much in the arctic tundra we call our office. Mom was there with us today, as we were working on graphics, Slam Dunk stuff, packing up things, and just a lot of work all in other directions. I was so happy to hear Camille talk about how cluttered her mind was because of all the different directions. I mean, one minute basketball booklets, the next scripts for Sunday, and then graphics for handouts, and then here comes our new actor to play Jesus, so we're all getting him prepped and ready for this production... lots going on.
Mom and I were at the hospital again this morning, but this time it was completely routine. We were there for a follow-up after her most recent scans. On paper, the doctor said everything is just fine. And that's good news for us! Mom's doing really well!
Later on, we were watching Spider-man again, the next animated episodes. It's been a pretty productive day overall with work - we're moving forward with our basketball series, and I'm liking it more than the February series we're in the midst of right now. However, we do need to get moving on it! March is almost here!
We continued reading our next book, "Lords and Ladies," and we said our prayers tonight.... and then Maddie hit the pillow for a good night's rest... that is until she heard the singing frog under her pillow: "Just one kiss, and I'll be your Valentine!" It's a goofy season.
