Maddie came down to Braselton with me tonight for the second night of Thunderstruck, and it was great because she has a good number of friends down there at that campus, including some that go to taekwondo as well. It was an easier night this evening, more relaxed in pacing, but it's still a lot and it's still somewhat tiring, certainly the longer drive down here. I mean, it's not like going all the way to Midtown or Spartanburg, but it's still an extra haul after a big long event. There was rain today, and once again that timed out because we showed the movie "Luca" to the kids on the big screens. It's pretty amazing to show any of these movies on the big screens, as it's just like going to the theater. Kids and all kinds of candy and so on, and it was a nice night together.
It was Maddie's first day at the Braselton campus, and it was a nice day there. We were also at the main campus too, doing a bit of work there before our trip south. The new "Lost World" booklets came in today, and those are looking great. The new series is starting to take shape, although we can't think about that so much until after all these "Thunderstruck" events are over with.
Of concern: I'm not feeling well. We'll have to keep an eye on this. Tonight, we drove home in the rain, and then we read, and we prayed. We have so much going on now, but it was a good day, and I was glad to have Maddie along to help. She was glad she was along too!
