We've had this dinosaur puppet for ages now, purchased some time ago for our new series that took years to get to actually do. But here it is, and we'll debut it on Sunday morning during service. He's a cute little guy, although Nana thinks he's ugly. We'll let the kids decide on Sunday!
Anyway, today I got back on the treadmill again, the break coming from my battle with a certain virus that got me incapacitated for a few weeks. So I took it easy to start out with. I got a video on the laptop of a POV walk around Castaway Cay, just because we've been reading about that lately with our Kingdom Keepers book.
Maddie was working out too, back at taekwondo for two classes tonight. She's having a great time, as one of her friends is now a black belt and in her black belt class as well. The kids are having a great time each night, a testament to how the place is run. We love Bart and Chris. Nana came with me this time, so she's back. Some of the other parents talk with her and I, and she had a nice time conversing and catching up.
Tonight Maddie was doing a bit of studying. She's doing a lot of work at the kitchen table, her books and paperwork and laptop spread out across the table like it's a war room strategy table. She's working diligently already. Meanwhile, the rest of us were watching a few things, and after that we were reading of course, yes back on Castaway Cay. And then we were praying. It was a quiet day, and that's okay.
