Jingle Bell was getting help with his escape from a hairy friend, but it wasn't Chewbacca. The clue left by Jabba the Hutt had the word BELIEVE in it, which was something written on a Big Foot ornament we have on a tree below. That's why Madison went to that tree rather quickly.
There are at least four Wookies in this picture above, or at least Chewbacca items. There's the Disney Infinity one, an action figure, a fast food toy and an ornament. But there was more - below, there's the giant PEZ dispenser with Chewbacca on it, alongside an action figure of the character Muftak.
But the irony - and Daddy had no idea about this or the timing of it - is that the Star Wars LEGO item she got was actually a LEGO Chewbacca today. What are the odds of that? Pretty high odds, I'd say, at least 7,320 to 1. Seriously, this was an amazing coincidence!
Madison was working on piano for a while today, and also working on her biography project on Dolly Parton. She was also back in Stardew Valley, where she's been for a while, growing crops and exploring. Daddy and Mommy were straightening things out, putting up wreaths outside, and doing a lot of leaf blowing. We have an extraordinary amount of leaves that fall in our front yard, so it takes a good while to remove them. Daddy created a mountain of leaves that Linus would just love to hurdle into. I should have called it Mt. St. Linus. Anyway, the mountain moved down hill towards the back yard, where Daddy spent a good long time. It looks a lot better now, but there's some other areas to tidy up too, so we'll be back at it soon enough.
Another thing we did today was build a house!
The front is Madison, and the side there is Daddy. The roof is Mommy's idea, a thatch roof made from Chex cereal that is stuck in place with sugar. Afterwards, Mommy sprinkled powder on the top to make it look like it has snowed.
In this picture, the front is Daddy's and that side is Madison's. We popped in a few Christmas specials, including "A Very Merry Tribes Christmas," as well as "The Santa Clause 2" on Disney Plus. We watched episode five of "The Mandalorian" as well, which Madison enjoyed. It was an amazing trip back to Mos Eisley, and the cantina there.
Tonight, we finished "The Horse and His Boy," and it's been asked if we can stay in Narnia, so tomorrow I think we're heading into a new book, "Prince Caspian." This is a big fat maybe, as tomorrow looks to be strikingly full.
Anyway, we had a good day today. Ba-Ba and Nana spoke with us on the phone, and though things are going okay, he is needing to gain some more weight. Tonight we were praying for that, and for healing.
