We Three Nutcrackers

We've added a few nutcrackers to the family today.  We have over twenty of them currently, but these three Wise Men were too good to pass up.  Nana bought these for Mom today as a Christmas gift, and they look very nice actually.  The Gavle goat there nearby almost looks like it could be a camel.  Included in the picture is my French Hen at top right - the only random prize drawing I've ever won in my life.  Oh, an bottom right you can see the stocking boot that holds all the different glasses you can look through to see different images within the Christmas lights.  Some will show you stars, others will show you crosses, and some show you angels.  Nana was looking through these, and of course the effect is pretty cool.

We have the other decorations rolling out too, including this other nativity scene here, a retro one from quite some time ago.  I've always liked this one.

Tonight we were watching Mr. Bean's Christmas special and "Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas" too.  Of course with Emmett Otter, you have to watch the outtakes just to see how many tries it took for them to get that drum to roll in just the right way.  It's hysterical!

Madison had piano tonight, and it's official that she's doing Victor's Piano Solo.  She's doing well with that one, getting better each time she plays, and starting to memorize it to a point where she doesn't need a music sheet.

It's been raining all day today and into the night.  I got home, and Mom made this delicious crab cake dinner that was just perfection.  At work today, I finished up the script for this weekend, and Madison can't wait to see it because it's so odd and involves blobfish.  I also did some acting of sorts, being filmed as an actual apple that is a secret agent.  His name is Agent Smith.  Granny Smith.

It was a good day today, and if you think we're getting to a point where we have too many nutcrackers, I'd say you're right.  But that isn't stopping us, I guess!

We said our prayers tonight, and we read some more about Mara Jade.  It was a good day today for us, although Nana has been having it rough.  In fact, I got home early by request to help with the atmosphere somewhat.  It's been challenging, but it is getting better.  Slowly, but there is some progress.
