Fourteen

Today was Madison's fourteenth birthday, and it was super nice for her.  She slept in, which is always a nice start.  But look what she got for a birthday present:  Baby Yoda!

It was a nice day - she got all kinds of nice messages from many other people online, all wishing her a nice day.

And she got some gifts too, including Porg pillow cases from Camille.  There was another nice gift as well - a friend came over to spend a good part of the day with Madison.  They had a live online craft session, and games too, and they just had a lot of fun together.  They were painting rocks, and playing  Minecraft UNO, which is basically like UNO, but with Minecraft characters and details.

I was filming all day today.  And late into the night.  It was pretty busy, which is somewhat the norm for this time of year when prepping for Summer Xtreme.  So in a way, it was familiar territory.  But it was a shame it was on Madison's birthday.  Still, she had a wonderful day, and of course she had a great birthday party this past weekend.  So it's okay.

We had time to read tonight, which we did.  And we prayed too - it was a good day, of course.  And yes, I can't believe Madison is already fourteen.
