We were having a fun logistical conversation you don't have every day. The concept is having a person in a helicopter, dressed as an Easter rabbit, visiting four campuses and dropping out thousands of Easter eggs filled with candy onto a football, and at least a small patch of grass divided by a path or river rocks. These are the kinds of wonderful conversations we have from time to time here. Again, the helicopter thing has been discussed before on this blog, something this writer doesn't fully understand. Perhaps next year we can have a Easter Bunny driving a monster truck, lowering the tailgate and doing a wheelie across the ground as plastic eggs fall out the back and onto the grass. Before you stop me and say, "Now that's just silly," consider seriously the idea of an Easter bunny inside a helicopter, dropping eggs out onto the grass. It's just crazy! We're trading in all the pastels, white fur, and ribbons of Easter, and replacing them with diesel, rotary blades, high winds and plastic eggs falling from the skies.
We ordered an additional rabbit costume, one I would love to put an aviator cap on. Why not?
Anyway, we had taekwondo tonight, and there was this other thing we did outside in the yard for fun. We saw this guy doing these perspective photos where you put an action figure closer to the camera, and you pose a real person a considerable distance away - then they both look like they're the same size, right? Well, here's what we were trying out:
It turned out okay, and at least gives you a teaser to what the next Avengers movie will be like. Madison is kind of a big deal in the movie, as you can see above.
That's one thing that's crazy right now. In a month's time, it won't be so much. But right now there is all this speculating, and I suppose we'll find out certain things if we only look to the internet for pirated this or that, or leaked this or that. But for the most of us, who refuse to do that sort of thing, there's a lot of guessing and wondering and trying to figure out just how this Avengers story line will wrap up.
The great thing about this blog is that you can look back on it from a vantage point where you know all that happens here, and also at the other concluding movie later this year, the one wrapping up the Star Wars movies. But for now, there's all kinds of fun guessing and a build-up that's part of the excitement of these movies. Madison can't wait, and neither can Mommy or Daddy. Or all our friends. The movie will make more than the nation of Belize makes in a year. Which is kind of a funny thought. One movie makes more than an entire country in Central America. Wow.
Anyway, we had taekwondo tonight, and Mommy came along to watch, with plenty of sparring. Not Mommy though. She doesn't spar. But Madison did, and did so for eleven minutes. She had a great time, but all the kids were worn out by the end of it, considering that this was the longest time that they had gone sparring without a break.
We got home and watched a beautiful sunset, this following lovely rain. Rain is lovely because it washed away pollen for a bit. Anything that does that is a friend of mine. So rain, you are my friend.
Getting home, we watched some Gravity Falls episodes and continued our reading, though we'll be done with this Neverland book soon enough. The London Underground seems to be the location of the big finish to our series. It's been fun reading, and the girls are hanging on every word...!
