Battlefront II

May the Fourth be with you!  I'm not sure how long we've been doing the Star Wars day thing, but here we are again, with another great day.  And look what was out at the school, escorting kids into the building, and making sure parents don't drive like nerf herders.

There were some special Star Wars related games today, and out of all the kids there, guess who won?  Yes, Madison, our little geek!  She beat out all the boys, and probably won it with the question about Luke Skywalker's first ship he flew, the T-16 Skyhopper.  Yeah, she's our little nerd!

When Daddy got home, we absolutely had a great time with a new game, which is in fact an old game, circa 2005.  We used to play "Battlefront II" a lot back in the day, but I hadn't really plugged it in or tried it in some time.  So fast forward to Star Wars Day, and Daddy noticed a version was available on the X-box for ten dollars.  So yeah, I got it.

Madison and Daddy played this game a long time tonight, and could have kept going if it weren't for that little thing we all need called sleep.  We spent a long time on Hoth, where Madison just got her driver's license to operate a AT-AT.  She was having a blast (literally), pretty much after Daddy and his pathetic band of rebels.  Anyway, it was lots of fun.  This will be her "go-to" game for a while now!

We stopped in time for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."  It appears as if our general character, a fun source of comedy, is now a villain, which is unfortunate.  He's not quite himself, in his defense.  But in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter, and it seems as if this will all end in tears.  But we'll see!  The good news is that this show does in fact mention Thanos, and we do in fact see lemons.  More on both of those later.

In the meantime, it's time for bed, time for prayers, the devotional, and a series of unfortunate events afterwards.  Sweet dreams, and may the force be with you!
