SX25 Day 3

Here's Maddie and her group at the movies today, a nice trip to a cool theater to see "Elio" once more, and perhaps a chance to nod off somewhat.  She saw the movie a few weeks ago, making her one of the only people on this planet that probably has seen it twice in theaters.  Still, it was fun for the big crowd of kids, and it was a really great day at Gainesville's Summer Xtreme.  The morning service was awesome, and the actors did a splendid job with the skit of course, and this is day three of our mystery.  Whodunnit?

That's them practicing in the stairwell, as I sort of direct from the stairs.  Emma seems a bit emotional about something...!

It's been fun, and the games have been really, really fun.  Josh created this masterpiece game, and the kids are just loving the video board game idea, strategizing and competing for points.  Today's onstage game awarded points for a trivia game, one that resulted in pies in your face if you got the wrong answer.  Lots of pies were making lots of mess on stage - but that's the way Summer Xtreme goes.

The message and the worship have been really powerful, and it's just been a good day for KidPak.  And afterwards, we were off to Braselton for their first night of Summer Xtreme.  It went well - I got there just in time to hand the actors some props for their musical number, a song I wrote for the story of Esther.  That went well, and the message was really good tonight too - Bailee was there speaking this evening, which is just crazy.  We're starting off at 7:30 am in Gainesville, doing a full day of Summer Xtreme and then going to Summer Xtreme in Braselton!

You can imagine our state of being tonight when we got home:  so very tired!  And the tooth isn't doing that well either.  I mean, it's better, but I can't really eat solid food at the moment, so there's that.

Anyway, we closed out things quickly tonight, with reading and with prayers.  It was a really full and fantastic day for the kids.
