SX25 Day 2

Summer Xtreme continued today, and Maddie and the cast did a fantastic job on stage with the next part of our ongoing story - you can see above the yearly selfie that I write into the script!  

 

It was a fun morning on stage, from games to skits and videos.  Here's some of the pictures the staff took of the skit today, which got a lot of laughs, and of course got to our bottom line really well.

Of course, Summer Xtreme is more than just the skits - it was a really great service today from worship to the games and the videos and the message about Esther.  

Afterwards, the kids were over to Urban Air.  Maddie was at the trampoline park with all the kids, and the volunteers always have fun too.  Maddie was playing dodgeball with the others, and there were plenty of stories to talk about afterwards, near misses, a catch of the ball resulting in the out of an opponent, and of course a kid that "had it out for her" this game too.  They had a great time!

Maddie was with Nate for a bit after Summer Xtreme, while we were getting things ready for tomorrow morning.  It was a good, long day.  Painful for me too - this tooth thing is getting out of hand.  But tonight things got better, and Maddie and I did some LEGO pirating for fun before bedtime.  Almost done with that game again!

Closing out the day, it's time for reading from the Discworld and prayers.  It's been a good Day Two!
