Newsies Presents

 

This was left on our front porch today, a newspaper box - and fortunately one you don't have to put money into to open up!

It was something for Maddie, and she wasn't quite sure why or even what... but that became more clear as she reached in and pulled out some of the gifts inside.  What was it?

Nana and Ye-Ye - along with Aunt Shain - got her some Newsies stuff!  She was really happy to see some of these items, including this bag and a really cool t-shirt as well.

And a music book too with sheet music from the movie.  Pretty cool stuff, and these newspaper earrings too.

Pretty nice!  There was more, and it was a really sweet birthday for Maddie from the relatives.  She was so happy, and we stopped to visit Nana and Ye-Ye a little later tonight.

We were on our way back from taekwondo.  It was a good day today, and of course taekwondo was great.  Maddie got to spend a good part of the day with Nate, so you know she had a good day.  We were at work a good bit, hunkering down as more storms rolled through earlier in the day.  It's a pattern we're in, and the lake is absolutely the fullest I think I've ever seen it.  

Tonight we finished up the Phineas and Ferb episodes, just a few because we didn't have that much time before bed.  Of course we got to read, moving closer to ending this Kingdom Keepers series, wrapping it all up.  And after that - time for prayers.  Nice day today!
