There is a Place for You Here...

 ...

So we keep passing by this church on the way to Braselton.  And as you go by in one direction, this friendly banner is facing the church letting the passersby know that there's a place for him or her there.  But if you're traveling in the other direction, the banner is sort of more in front of the cemetery.  Which might not have the same welcoming feeling.  Or perhaps it does.  Or perhaps it's a seasonal thing, you know?  A sign in front of a cemetery that reads, "There is a Place for You Here..."  Sort of reminds me of the spill from the Ghost Host of on the Haunted Mansion, reminding visitors that there's always room for one more!

I won't list the name of the church.  Honestly, I can't remember anyway.  The sign tickles me, that's all.  It's part of the ongoing journey to Braselton and back, which we've been doing a few more times lately.

Meanwhile, Maddie's been doing some ghost hunting herself, and capturing some evidence of the paranormal with her photography.  As you may know,  this site is a leading authoritative source on paranormal activity in the tri-county area, with Maddie's extensive research and documentation showing her expertise in this field.  Here is a photograph that clearly shows evidence of the supernatural.

She's been having fun with the photography class, which is usually the first thing she talks about coming home from school.  These are all experimental, and loads of fun too!

So today's theme for Homecoming Week was "Twins," which means dressing alike.  So Maddie and her friend chose to dress as Kim Possible today, which was pretty cool!

Speaking of dressing up, Mom got me this Haunted Mansion jacket which is AMAZING.  It's the wallpaper print on a jacket.  I just ordered a tie with the same pattern, so I'll have a pretty nifty outfit to wear this month when it's all together.  Looking forward to that!

Tonight was the finale of "Rings of Power," and it was pretty rough for a few characters.  Okay, it was rough for Middle Earth in general.  But like the prequels for Star Wars, you know where this is going.  It's still fun to go back and visit with Middle Earth, and it was pretty cool to see the Balrog again.  Things are setting up for a big Balrog scene, plus hopefully a visit from an angry army of trees.  Don't upset the trees.  This is an important message for people in Middle Earth who apparently keep forgetting that.

Anyway, it's been a nice day.  We read tonight from "Equal Rites," and we said our prayers afterwards.  Time to get some rest - homecoming week continues tomorrow!
