FCY United Night was in Braselton tonight at the campus there, and it was a great conclusion to the "FAST" series, which of course went with the month the church traditionally goes on a twenty-one day fast.  The theme brought students from all over to the campus, as there were giveaways (NASCAR tickets!), some fancy cars (seen above), and even some air brush t-shirts that I couldn't resist - I bought Maddie one right away, plus one for her friend.  

Yes, the gang from taekwondo showed up, and it was a great time together tonight, a solid message from Pastor Javon from Spartanburg, and on top of that all kinds of other fun with photo ops, games, a gaming truck, the cars, a dance party and more.  A great night!

I was in the new prop room for most of the time, getting things straightened up somewhat for Mom so when she comes down it will be easier for her.  It was a lot of good work, but it was great to see a nice place for Mom to put all that material.

Anyway, it was a good day today, and a long one.  Got a lot done, particularly if you consider the work tonight.  We're moving forward with Summer Xtreme messages as well as getting things done for the skit this Sunday, plus other things on the grocery list.  It'll take time but we're getting there.

The fog was so intense tonight on the way there, and the rain was so heavy on the way back.  More rain is on the way - it's going to be tricky driving.  We had to take our time on the way back, a long drive made longer by the care I was taking to be alert.  Lots of water on the road.  

We read tonight, and didn't really have time to watch too much due to the lateness of the hour.  But we prayed and it was easy to fall asleep tonight.
