Bracelets

 

Maddie has been under the weather somewhat, and today was certainly a day to just relax and spend time sleeping in, playing some video games on the couch, and making plenty of these bracelets like the one you see above.  She made this one today and it's brilliant.  Of course it says "WANDAVISION" on it, but fans of the characters will note the colors of the beads themselves, one side representing Wanda, and the other side representing Vision.  It's a great bracelet.  And she made more too - the supplies for making these bracelets were a gift under the Christmas tree, one she's been using right away.

Today I went back to work - there was free Farmhouse coffee, so I was all about that when they came by with the truck.  But the majority of the day involved a bit of catching up, and that will no doubt be a continuing trend tomorrow.  

Maddie and I were still in Jurassic World tonight, continuing a LEGO Jurassic World game that we apparently didn't 100% complete the last time we played.  I think we finished the story mode and did a lot of exploring, but we still have new characters to unlock and new items to collect that remain undiscovered.  So we returned and had some fun with that.  Our visit yesterday really cemented the movie theme for the week - tonight's feature was "Jurassic World:  Fallen Kingdom."  We actually really like this movie a lot, mainly because it's so different from the others, going from a huge cataclysm to this monster-in-a-house movie filled with lots of dark and creepy moments.  The indoraptor sneaking into the kid's bedroom on the upper floor is such a classic scene, so well put together.  Anyway, we enjoyed that movie tonight, and soon after we got ready for bed.  Maddie has one more day to sleep in!
