The Lost Girls

Maddie was back in Neverland this morning, as you can see above, along with the "Lost Girls."  We didn't have the boys for the cast this time around, so it is Peter Pan and the Lost Girls.  Hook, Starkey, and of course Smee are here to give the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell and Peter a bit of trouble, as was seen in today's service.  We're doing a quick series about Thanksgiving in Neverland - and in December, I've finished the writing for an all-new story for "Christmas in Neverland."  It should be super fun.  Here are a few pictures from this morning's service, including the games we played and of course our story as well.

We got home after church this morning, and we got some rest, cleaned up, and went right back to church for the youth service.  It's a new November series called "THNX."  It should have been "THX," but the graphics guy wasn't paying attention close enough.  Regardless, she had a good time tonight, and won't miss this service if she can help it.  

We got home, watching some Christmas movies while putting out some decorations and decking the halls a bit.  Mom had one of these ceramic trees that's now a bit of retro fun.  I think these were from the 70's, but they're getting popular again in certain circles.

She fixed it up, and it looks great!  She added some paint, and now this tree will be a nice part of our yearly Christmas decor.  I actually like these retro items quite a bit.

We were tired tonight, as you might suspect.  It was a full day.  After reading, we were all asleep under those warm covers, and ready to fall fast asleep...
