Silver Elves

Yeah, this is one of the more random ideas our elf has come up with.  But Madison likes the Silver Surfer, you must remember this.  We're not sure if she's still one of his biggest fans - but the idea was there, and sure enough, she found him this morning, covered in aluminum foil, on top of a covered surfboard floating through space.

Today was Thursday, which is like most Thursdays:  we were busy setting up trees outside, and believe it or not, doing a bit of wrapping even still.  Mommy was at the doctor's office for a bit, setting up future appointments to try and deal with this ongoing tummy issue she is facing.  Our next appointment is a larger procedure, scheduled for Christmas Eve of all days.  But she'll be there, because she's been going through some uncomfortable moments lately.

We were too tired to do much tonight.  Madison did some piano homework, and we ate and did other homework.  But no time for movies this week.  We'll have to pick that up, and double time, next week. There are still plenty of Christmas movies to watch!

We did get to spend a little time together though.  It wasn't much, but it's still good, especially this time of year when it is so cold outside.  It's nice to get that fire roaring in the fireplace, and snuggle on the couch.  It's also nice to get to bed a little early.  We'll need that rest with the weekend coming up!
