The leaves on our front yard reached maximum capacity this afternoon, and as the weather was dry enough, Madison could resist temptation no longer. Neither could Mommy or Daddy - it was time to rake, and play in the leaves. Yesterday after getting off the bus, she tromped through the leaves, reminiscing and wishing there was a big pile to play in like she did when she was younger. Today, she got her wish granted.
Mommy did the labor while Madison did the playing around, as you can see even burying herself at one point. She definitely got that out of her system, running around and throwing leaves, and of course diving into them like a comic strip character would.
Today was a busy Wednesday for Daddy, but fortunatley, there was time to come home for dinner. And like yesterday, the dinner was nothing short of spectacular! Mommy is such a creative cook, although Madison hasn't been as willing to try new things lately. She is doing some new gluten free chicken nuggets, which work for Mommy as well of course.
Today, we hit the production hard by doing drills with the actors and their lines. We also returned to a clothing warehouse to pick up the lead guy's suit. It was a busy afternoon, as we also got ready for tonight's service, where we're kicking off the new series dedicated to the manger.
So what did Jingle the elf do during this time, you ask? It's probably best if we just show you:
Note the cucumbers over his eyes. Yes, those are from our garden! He turned the guest bathroom into his own little Elf Spa!
