Vote for Madison!

There is a special election here today to determine our next Congressperson in the Ninth District, and Madison has made it clear she can represent the Tea Party, as you can see to the right. She stands for all kinds of tea, especially the invisible sort that is poured out of pink toy teapots. Her platform is simple: In her opinion, the more tea parties, the better! So a vote for Madison is a vote for more tea parties - and who argue against that?

PATRIOTISM
Note her patriotic "I'm a Georgia Voter" sticker, symbolizing her commitment to the people. Also note her bright pink antennae, symbolic of... err... I'm sure they're symbolic of something!

REAL CHANGE
Madison is also a big candidate for change. This is evident each time she has a wet diaper. Of course, now she wears pull-ups. She's been great with these, sometimes going potty all by herself without any help. She still gets her tinkle dots as often as possible though, and Daddy can't recommend the tinkle dot program enough!

Today was a routine day - though a busy one. Mommy cooked up a delicious spaghetti and sausage dinner, and afterwards we went for a walk down to the lake in the cool air. The overcast weather made for a perfect occasion taking a trip to the shoreline.

Madison has been steering her own tricycle, shown to the left here. I'll get a photo of her on it eventually - she really likes riding on this thing. She jumps at the opportunity to get on board, and together we go down to the lake. Daddy pushes from behind and Madison steers and uses the pedals. It's a great training tricycle, and she enjoys the way it looks too. Another plus is the bag in the front where you can store things like flowers for Mommy, or rocks to throw into the lake. The canopy overhead is really nice too, because it blocks out the sun - or possibly the rain. Haven't experienced that yet. Today Daddy brought an umbrella just in case, but it never rained on us. It just stayed cool, which was just fine by me!

Oh. One more thing. It has a little bell. Madison likes that bell a lot!

Anyway, it was a nice trip down to the lake where we ran into Ye-Ye and Nana, who were walking their dogs. Madison didn't literally run into them though. That could have hurt.

Tonight, Daddy has to get more work done. Madison is in the playroom watching "The Three Caballeros" again, and to coin an election phrase, it's time to "run-off!"
