Maddie had her long day for school today - starting at classes, and then that longer lab session later on, the one she says is somewhat boring. She spent the day at Nate's later on, and they skipped taekwondo tonight, but she got home in time tonight to watch "Men in Black II" tonight with us. I think the big news of the day is an upcoming vacation - Mom and I are doing a Disney Cruise! It'll be a return to "Halloween on the High Seas" on the Disney Dream. It was a really good deal, and Mom wanted to do something to celebrate my birthday. So that might be pretty fun.
It was a quiet day otherwise. Tomorrow we're on our way to a Brick Fan Event, basically a big LEGO exhibition. Should be fun! Mom got me this one LEGO project from the same guy that designed the one for the Wilderness Tabernacle. In this creation, there are three different scenes that will be created representing three massive moments from the New Testament: the baptism, the crucifixion and the resurrection.
I'll post each one as they get finished, but one down, two to go! It was a quiet day, but nice - and kind of a big deal with the upcoming news. We closed out things with reading from "Soul Music," and the good news is that we all get to sleep in tomorrow. Good night!
